ACTION PLAN as Worldwide studies spearheaded by government agencies on environmental protection show an alarming increase in the presence of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) in the environment. POPs are compounds that are resistant to chemical, biological, and photocatalytic degradation in the environment. This environmental issue is the focus of the Sagip Kalikasan Activity Circle for their upcoming project entitled Kalikasan ko, Responsibilidad ko. The president of the organization called for a meeting to discuss some important details of the said event. The officers agreed to make an action plan to serve their framework in implementing their project (SITUATION). As an active officer and environmental advocate of the club (ROLE), you are expected to participate in the activity. In doing so, you are tasked to list the common POP's in the environment, identify its sources and hazards on the environment and living organisms, and the actions to be taken to lessen the effects of POP's (GOAL). After accomplishing the action plan (PRODUCT), you need to present it to the officers and get the approval of the president (AUDIENCE). Your action plan will be evaluated based on explanation, connection of ideas, integration of science concepts, identification of environmental and health issues, and procedure/steps on how to lessen the effects of POP's. (STANDARDS).
