need help to proofreading my clinical team leader report
writing. thanks.
Clinical Team Leader Report
Before starting our clinical, worked with Ms.
Winnie to check and make sure everyone’ look professional in
outlooks and make sure everyone wearing appropriate mask and
faceshield. I listed the clinic objective(s) to everyone
today is Discipline, respectful and team work. Assigned each
student for their tasks make sure we will cover the North and South
patients. North: assigned Davina in North for ADL and
wound care, new admission assessment. Frans in the North
site for medication/glucose test and new admission assessment; Rena
in North site for vital sign. For the South:
assigned Iona doing Vital/ADL; Anna, follow with in charge
for giving medication/Glucost test; Weenie is doing
ADL/Vital, also new admission
assessment.
I first find out who are the in charge nurse in North
and South, also find out the CNA who works in the north and south,
so the students knows who to follow with when they have
questions.
As report for the wound care, Davina and the wound care
nurse had done wound care for RM 3A, 16, 5A, she is excited for
learning much more for wound care today. Anna, has done a
glucose test for the charge nurse in the south, rooms 4a, 6b, 6c,
8a, and 9a. All blood sugar numbers have been report to the
incharge nurse in South, Oma, RN. Rena has done the glucose
test in the North, RM# 22A, 15 B, 17A, 17C, 19A and 21B, all blood
sugar test report to Ann, RN in the north site. We total
have 3 new admission from 8/31 and two new admission on 9/1
at 6pm and 9pm. Davina did the head to toe assessment to the
new patient in 11C with PPD test at 8:30pm. Anna did one
assessment at 9A , new admission from 8/31/21, Flor attempt
to do the head to toe assessment for patient in 11A, but pt was a
cooperative assessment on the top and decliens the bottom part.
Another new admission in 11C was refused for all assessment
and test, we respect him and will work with his family and comes
up, will get the solution after review his chart and work with his
family.
Both sites are able to obtain the vital sign smoothly
for every patient, and handle in copy and reports to the incharge
nurse in each site.
We took our 1st break from 4:45pm, lunch at 7:00
pm -7:30 pm and the last break was assigned 9-9:15pm. We
have not received any complains. Thanks for everyone follow
the objectives of the day, very dedicated, discipline, respect the
time management and great teamwork to cover each other when needs
help and able to flexible to tasks. We performed technical
skills under the supervision of clinic preceopt and indetify safety
factor related to client cares. I am sure all the hard work
for the post conference is postiveive patient care outcome, and
demonstrate our nursingal professional
development.
