[5 points total] Three balls (one black, one grey, and one white) are placed near a flat mirror, as shown in the top view) diagram below. a) [1 point] Indicate the location of the images of the three balls in the mirror. Briefly explain how you determined their locations. b) [1.5 points] Determine the region where an observer would see the image of the black ball between the images of the white and grey balls (assume the actual balls do not block the observers' view of the images). Explain your reasoning. c) [1 point] Pick an observation location in the range that you determined above and draw the path that light travels from each of the three objects to this observer. It is sufficient to draw a single ray from each object but use a straight edge to make your diagram accurate. Use solid lines to show "real" light and dashed lines to show "fake" light. d) [1.5 points] Is there a location where an observer would see the image of the white ball between the grey and black balls? If so, indicate the region, if not explain why not.
