The GRE exams, which are required for students to enter graduate
school, have a known standard deviation of 9 on the quantitative
section. A random sample of 100 VCU applicants showed an average
GRE score of 148.24 on the quantitative section. What does the
confidence interval/statement mean? Group of answer choices If we
average together the quantitative GRE scores of all VCU applicants,
we think the average would be in that range. If we interviewed all
VCU students, we think the proportion who have taken the
quantitative GRE will be in that interval. All VCU applicants have
a quantitative GRE score in that range. 95% of VCU applicants have
quantitative GRE scores in that range.
