A single-phase transformer has the specifications shown in table below n Parameter Value Voltage 2200/220 V Frequency 60 Hz Power 10 kVA To determine the parameters of this transformer, two tests are performed as shown in following table Test Measurements Voltage Current Power 220 V 2.5 A 100 w Open-Circuit Test (HV side open) Short-Circuit Test (LV side shorted) 150 V 4.55 A 215 W a) Determine the parameters of the approximate equivalent circuits referred to the LV side and draw the circuit.
b) By ignoring the parallel branch, determine the voltage regulation for 75% full load at 0.6 power factor lagging.
