7. In order to control the motor angular position, a negative feedback control system is implemented with a simple control gain added to the forward path, as shown in figure below. Obtain the closed- loop transfer function 0(s)/0d(s) with K set to 1, using the feedback function. Desired angular position, Od(s) Controller K DC Motor G(s) Angular position, o(s) 8. Analyse the time response of the closed-loop system with K = 1, 2, 5 and 10. The analysis shall include: a. Examine the poles of the closed-loop system and system stability. b. Simulate the step response of the closed-loop system. Obtain the overshoot, settling time and peak time for different K. d. Comment on the effect of K to output response. 9. Repeat the analysis (step 7 and 8) using SIMULINK. c.
