PROJECT 2- Property Rentals You just completed the above project and the client is happy with your work. They engage you in another project where you are to first design the logical database structure, normalise your relations and then implement entity relationship diagram below in Oracle 19c. SECTION A- PRACTICAL Task 1: System configuration NOTE: You are to provide screenshots for that activities you in this practical. Your work must be neat with clear descriptions in the word document. * Configure the network environment of your connections and do the following • Create a listener that bears your surname last four digits of your student number - Port must bear 15...followed by your age (e.g. 1526). 26 in this case is your age - Set the appropriate protocol over which your network will communicate Provide a screenshot showing listerner.ora file, services tab running listener, and alias [15 marks] Task 2: Database Creation The listener created has to be assigned to a particular database that you have to create. Use the SID = your surname_last four digits of your student number (e.g. taunyane_3056) for that database. If this name is long use first three (3) letters of your surname_last four digits of your student ID. Create the above projects as pluggable databases (e.g. project1_student and PDBproject2 respectively). They need to appear in one container. Whichever way you create them will depend on you Create common user Botho_25. The above projects must be created in this common user. In each of the pluggable databases create local users with appropriate rights and connect with them. Ensure that appropriate tablespaces are created.
Task 3: Table Creation Implementation of the designs. Create each project in each local user specified in the above pluggable databases. - For Project 1 above, normalize the relations and then implement them. For each relation create five records. For Project 2, create the logical database design and implement them in oracle database management system as required. Five records for each table [15 marks] Task 4: Data manipulation Creating the reports - Write a query that shows the of cases produced in that month Write an SQL query that returns a report on the number rooms rented at base rate - Produce a report in SQL that shows the specialties that lawyers have Write a query that shows the number of judges that sit for a case Which property is mostly rented? Write a query to show this [20 marks]
