This question is based on the specimens you viewed in the previous question. The specimens viewed above came from different parts of a plant. The Elodea slide was of leaf cells. The carrot and potato slides were from cutting up actual carrots and potatoes- the vegetables we eat. Potato shown at left, carrot at right, below. Question 11: The Elodea, carrot and potato are all plant cells. Why don't they all contain chloroplasts?
