An electron and a proton are each placed in a uniform electric field of magnitude 79 N/C. Calculate the speed of the electron 84 ns after being released. Notes: 1) Charge of electron:q=-e = -1.6 x 10-19 2) Mass of electron : me = 9.11 X 10-31 kg Hint: When you calculate the speed of the electron, take the absolute value of the charge of the electron (do not take the negative sign of the charge, because speed is a scalar quantity, it should be a positive value)
