More than 1000 genomes that were analyzed from people all overthe earth. When the average 100kb fragment was evaluated, theentire set of 1000 genomes showed <5 different genotypes acrossthe population. However, the typical human 100kb fragmentshave 1 SNP every 100bp on average (ie 100 SNPs per 100,00kb). Why were only 1-5 different genotypes observed for a given 100kbstretch of the genome?
A.) Indels are the most common mutation
B.) haplotypes are DNA segments that tend to be inheritedtogether
C.) SNP polymorphic sites are rare and their density is lessthan 1 per 100,000
D.) SNP polymorphic sites are rare and their density is lessthan 5 per 100,000
