Use the member capacity tables of your P363 to select asuitable angle in S275 steel, if the tension due to Ultimate LimitState factored loads is 180kN. [5 marks] (b) Design a suitablefillet weld detail according to the requirements of Eurocode 3. Youmay NOT use the pink pages of P363 to assist in your weld design,but should use the appropriate weld strength clauses of EN1993-1-1(Eurocode 3) instead. [10 marks]
