A laterally unrestrained beam 8m long that is simply supported at both ends supports dead and imposed uniformly distributed loas of 10kN/m and 5kN/m respectively. The beam also carries concentrated deadloads of 15kN at a distance of 2m from both supports. You are required to carry out the following
i.Calculate maximum shear force and bending moment(load combination of 1.35*dead load+1.5*live load)
ii)Classify section in grade S275(trial section 406*178*54 kg/m)
iii)Carry out all the required checks
(NOTE:use EN1993-1-1(2005) ; eUROCODE 3 ,ONLY AND EUROCODES ARE ALLOWED IN THIS QUESTION)
