Unsure if I have the right values for theta because whenconverting to angles, it's not looking right.
If you can assist, it'll be helpful. Must be done in Matlab.
Values I got: 0.936, 0.433, 0.58
Thank you
Problem 1-2: Newton-Raphson The 15-m cable is suspended from A and D and carries concentrated loads at B and C. The vertical equilibrium equations of joints B and C are T(−tanθ2+tanθ1)=16T(tanθ3+tanθ2)=20 where T is the horizontal component of the cable force (it is the same in all segments of the cable). In addition, there are two geometric constraints imposed by the positions of the supports: −4sinθ1−6sinθ2+5sinθ2=−34cosθ1+6cosθ2+5cosθ3=12 Determine the angles θ1,θ2, and θ3.
