4. Air enters a compressor at 1bar and 27∘C (inlet condition, state 1 ) and a rate of 2 kg/min and leaves at 5.8 bars and 227∘C (exit condition, state 2 ). The power required to operate the compressor is 7.12 kW. The rate of the heat transfer from the system to an ambient is 0.359KW. The average temperature of the turbine surface where heat transfer occurs may be taken to be the average air temperature at the inlet and exit (Tb​= (T1​+T2​)/2).
