A conducting sphere of radius a = 60 cm is
grounded with a resistor R = 70 Ω as shown below.
The sphere is exposed to a beam of electrons moving towards the
sphere with the constant velocity v = 23 m/s and the
concentration of electrons in the beam is
ne = 2.4×1019 m-3.
How much charge per second is received by the sphere (find the
current)? Assume that the electrons move fast enough.
A. what is the current ?
B what's the maximum charge ( on the sphere)
