The weight of chicken follows a normal distribution, with a mean
of μ pounds and a variance of 4 pounds^2. We took a sample of 144
chicken with a sample mean of 6 pounds. What is the two-sided 95%
confidence interval of μ?
Note that from the z-distribution table, we know:
P(Z<= -1.645) = 5%
P(Z<= -1.96) = 2.5%
P(Z<= -1.28) = 10%
A. [5.347,6.653]
B. None of the other answers
C. [5.787,6.213]
D. [5.726,6.274]
E. [5.673,6.327]
