Cantilever Beam I – A uniform distributed load of 5,000
N/m is applied to a cantilever beam. The beam has a length of 1 m
and a square cross-section of 3 x 3 cm. Evaluate the effect of
material selection by plotting the displacement of the beam (m) as
function of the x distance (m) for three different materials:
Aluminum (E = 69 GPa), Titanium (E = 116 GPa), and Carbon Fiber
Reinforced Plastic, CFRP, (E = 150 GPa).

Seeing the answer on paper as well as MATLAB if able would be
greatly appreciated!
