A differential manometer gauge is partly filled with mercury (the remainder of the tube is filled with water) and connected to the meter at the throat and inlet. The mercury column stands 15 in higher in one leg than in the other. Neglecting friction, what is the flow rate (in ft3/sec) through the line.
