A sea bridge. A 10 km bridge that crosses over open sea, with a facility to allow ships of maximum air draft (height above the water line) of 10 m to pass under. The mean water level is 20 m, this may rise to a maximum of 22 m during peak high tide conditions. The sea bed is composed of 2 m of loose sand and 3 m of compacted clay over a solid layer of bedrock. Show the preferred design of the bridge, including the shape, materials, and construction.
