1. Supply a single foundation structural drawing sheet of a residential building of 10.0m x 10.0m footprint dimensions, using either one of the following foundation types: • Pad foundation • Strip foundation [2 marks] (Design guidelines: standard two-storey, 2- bedroom dwelling; foundation formation level to be 1.Om below existing ground surface) 2. Using NRM 2 as the reference method of measurement, perform the quantity take-off and supply completed quantity and summary sheets of the proposed resource requirements (materials, labour, equipment) for the following: • Earthworks (inclusive of excavation, backfilling, compaction) • In-situ Concrete works (inclusive of concrete, formwork and reinforcement) • Masonry works (inclusive of external and internal block walls, forming openings) [12 marks] 3. Supply the following additional information: • Estimated itemized costs for all required materials • Brief method statement for execution of the works • Work and project schedule for labour and equipment allocation [6 marks]
