A turbine system is harnessing the energy of flowing water from reservoir 1 to reservoir 2. The difference in elevation between the two reservoirs is 120ft. For a design flowrate of 50ft^3/s, the head loss is 30 ft. (Neglect the difference in atmospheric pressure between reservoirs.) a. solve the turbine head. b. If an average household consumes 1000hp every month, solve the theoretical number of households that can be served by the turbine system. c. If the head loss is 60ft. solve the theoretical power extracted by the turbine. d. Solve the theoretical power extracted by the turbine. e. Solve the efficiency of the turbine if the actual energy extracted is 100 hp.
