they believe they are being fairly compensated. Nevertheless, money
motivates employees only if tied directly to performance, and the
most common method of establishing this link is the use of special
pay programs designed to motivate high performances. These programs

Board of Canada found that whilst 80 percent of Canadian companies
offer incentives programs, 69 percent of them do not measure their
