education, especially at secondary and tertiary levels. In their
pursuit of achievement and advancement, students know they have to
compete with their peers to secure that scholarship or be selected
for an exchange program or become a gold medalist, etc. In many
circles such competition is a positive consideration; however, it
can also be harmful.
