To prevent excessive tilting during loading when the passengers are all on one side, the metacentric height should be at least 3m. a. If the overall centre of gravity of the pontoon is 1.5m above the underside of the pontoon, and 50 passengers, each person weighing an average of 75kg, are standing on the upper level located 6m above the underside of the pontoon, what is the metacentric height? Use p = 1.025 t/m for seawater. Are 50 passengers too many?
