30,000 ft. (m = 0.62 kg and D = 23.9 cm).
a) Find the velocity when the ball hits the ground (do not
neglect air friction).
b) Find the velocity of the ball right after it bounces off the
earth if the coefficient of restitution is 0.7 (low for a
basketball on wood, but it doesn’t land on wood).
