TOPIC: Think of different, specific, examples of things you have learned through the types of conditioning discussed in this module. Write a discussion post explaining the behaviors you learned, and identify the key "components" and vocabulary of the learning, such as the UCS, UCR, CS, CR, positive or negative reinforcement, shaping, etc. 1. Describe one example of something learned through classical conditioning. 2. Describe one example of something learned through operant conditioning. 3. Describe one example of something learned through observational learning or latent learning. STEP 1: First, write a response with at least EIGHT substantial sentences, integrating concepts you learned from the textbook reading and other materials (include links when necessary). Providing empirical support for your comments would be helpful. Show that you can think critically on the topic by integrating your own thoughts, analysis, or experiences. Refer to the Grading Rubric and the How To to make this first Discussion Board your best yet! STEP 2: Return to the discussion to comment on at least TWO classmates' posts (in at least FIVE sentences). Expand on a classmate's comments in a value-adding, topic-related way. Promote a collaborative, supportive community, and advance the dialogue through follow-up questions. Reply posts cannot be one-liners, off-topic posts, vague statements, unsupported opinions, inadequate explanations or simply say, "I agree" or "good job." STEP 3: Return to the discussion to respond to someone's comment on YOUR ORIGINAL POST (in at least FIVE sentences). Reply posts cannot be one-liners, off-topic posts, vague statements, unsupported opinions, inadequate explanations or simply say, "I agree" or "good job."
