It slides down (with static/kinetic friction coefficients μs​,μ ) and across a smooth floor where it collides and sticks with another box (mass M ), which is attached to a spring (constant k ). Assuming the collision happens instantaneously at time t=0, write an equation describing the position of the two boxes as a function of time after the collision. Take the coordinate system as pictured (x=0 at the collision point).
