You may choose multiple answers: Which of the following is true regarding the Plan de Iguala? Criollos would be superior to Perinsulares in Mexico since criclios had more first-hand expericnce in Mexico. The Treaty of Cordoba recognized the Plan, and many Mexicans supported it. Iturbide modified the Treaty, stating that if no suitable European monarch would accept the Mexican Crown, then Mexico's congress would choose an emperor for itself. It promised an independent Mexico with a Constitutional monarchy li.e. Kaing. Ferdinand or other appropriate European Princell Hurbide entered Mexico City in Septenber, 1880, ending the Mexican War for independence. Mexico would remain Roman Cathelic, and the clergy would retain their rights and privileges.
