The Earth-Moon system is unique in the Solar System, because ofthe size of the Moon compared to the Earth. Imagine that the Moonwas half the diameter it currently is (and its mass reduced aswell). What, if anything, would happen to its orbit, its phases, and its effect on tides and eclipses, both solar and lunar?
