Scenario #1
Lauren and Alex Ruiz have three children, ages 4, 6, and 10. Oneand a half years ago, Alex was injured and has not been able towork, and receives disability. And Lauren works full time. Tosupplement the single income, the family has used mostly all oftheir savings. After bills, the family has $560 a month to feed thewhole family. Though that seems like a lot, the family only has$140 a week or $20 per day to spend on food for the 5 people in theRuiz family. What can the Ruiz family buy?
you are not really buying these foods, you are justcreating a meal plan/menu with the food you purchase for the weekwith the allotted amount of money you will create a shopping listof all the foods you purchase to show that you stayed within thebudget. Then from those foods, create a menu with breakfast, lunch and dinner for the entire week. You must turn in thelist of the foods you bought with the amount you spent and then, the created menu for the week! I want to see breakfast, lunch anddinner for each individual day. Treat this as though you are tryingto eat as healthy as you can with the amount of money you have tospend.
