Refer to the mystery primates dentitions provided by yourinstructor (or the photos in the lab 12 exercise image library onpg. 360) to complete the chart below. Describe the incisors, molarsand muscle attachment on the mandible of each mystery primate.Then, using this trait information, determine the likely diet ofeach mystery primate, and give an example of one primate that hasthis diet.
(Hint: refer to pg. 360 to answer the questions,
- For incisors and molars, use the following descriptive terms:small, intermediate, large, and pointy. If the teeth are specifictype, like a dental comb, then use that term.
- For mandible size and muscle attachment, use the followingdescriptive terms: small, intermediate, and large. Make sure tolist the muscle attachment. Note: not all will have a muscleattachment.
- For Diet, list the specific diet types mentioned in the labbook.
