1.(a) A polarogram (Figure 1) below was obtainedfor a 10-mL lead-containing sample. The limiting current increased(to B) after addition of 100 μL of a 0.10-M leadstandard to the 10-mL sample. Given the sample lead ion yielded alimiting current of 13 μA (A). The current increases by8.5 μA on spiking the sample with a 1-mM lead standard (consideringthe 1:100 fold dilution; B-A).
