A manufacturing company produces Tungsten disks that need to be sintered to a temperature of 750K after machining. Hot gasses at 1250K are used to heat the Tungsten disks that have a diameter of 500mm and a thickness of 50mm. The disks are initially at a temperature of 300K and the convective heat transfer coefficient is shown in the diagram. Calculate the time that is needed for the disk to reach 750K. Be sure to show that you have verified your method is valid. 50mm 0:500mm دددد To: 1250K h: 75 W/m²/K
