A 1000 Hz uniform electromagnetic plane wave is propagating downward into the seawater in the x-direction. The y-z plane, at which x = 0, denotes the sea surface such as shown in Figure Q.6(b). The wave is polarized in the y-direction. Using seawater constants for conductivity, relative permittivity and relative permeability as 4 S/m, 80 and 1 respectively, and assuming the initial amplitude of the ♬ field at x = 0 as 100 mA/m, (i) Determine the value of a, ß, n and 0₁.
