Current EstRTT DevRTT TO Int 350 47 538 Sample 1 Sample 2 290 342.5 50.25 543.5 450 355.94 64.56 614.19 Sample 3 360 356
2. Continuing, if you set all three samples to 350 to match the initial EstRTT, and all future samples also were at 350, what would eventually happen to DevRTT and TO Int?
A: They would converge to the original values of 47 and 538
B: DevRTT would oscillate higher and lower but TO Int would settle in to 350.
C: DevRTT would fall eventually to zero, but TO Int is an infinite series and would never quite reach 350.
D: DevRTT would drop to zero, and TO Int would fall to 350.
3. Continuing, what value would you need to observe for sample 1 for teh EstRTT to change to 400ms? Give two digits past the decimal point in your answer.
