Use MS Excel to connect to the MS Access database(posted on Moodle) using ODBC, and retrieve Data from the database.
2. Explain the steps to create DSN(Data Source name ) in MS windows Operating system. Make sure to take screen shots and paste them into your MS word file. Make sure the naming conventions should include the 3 letters of each member’s first name followed by assignment group number.
3. There are many tables in the given database, you can extra data from single or multiple tables using the DSN created
4. Demonstrate at least 5 to 6 different data import from the database into excel. Apply different Where conditions and import data. You can import them in different tabs of one Excel file, Rename the tabs of excel worksheet after importing.
5. Explain the steps of importing data from MS Access database into Excel using ODBC. Explanation should be done in MS Word file. Marks will be based on number of data imports done and types of filter applied(Output Excel file also should be submitted)
