Hello I'm confused on the directions for this, downbelow is what i have to do.how to start this can i get outline onwhat it should look like? Seems like were picking company orasscocation to talk about weather its real or made up.
Assignment: Write a series of threepublic service announcements for a non-profit organization (i.e.Tacoma Rescue Mission) or social issue (i.e. homelessness) of somesort. The three PSAs should be part of a coherentpackage. In other words, the non-profit organization orsocial issue should be well researched and the target audienceshould be taken into consideration. You can choose a programat UW Tacoma as your organization, but it cannot be the universityas a whole.
Treatment: Write anintroduction/treatment to support your series of PSAs. Thisdoes not need to be long or complicated. Two pages should beabout right. The basic thrust of this document should be some basicbackground on the organization and its goals, the target audiencefor each of the three PSAs, and how you believe the three PSAscomplement each other.
Scripts: The seriesshould include two 30 second PSAs and one 60 second PSA. The60-second version should not just be a longer version of one of the30-second versions. At least two of the PSAsMUST be script driven. In other words, it isimportant to show off what you are learning in this class.
Some things to think about . . .
l Be certain to follow broadcastwriting format, with video cues on the left, voiceover script onthe right in ALL CAPS.
l Limit yourself to one strong,clear message per PSA.
l Think how emotions might helpplace the audience in the desired mood for your message.
