If you go to the simulation at Balancing Act you will find a simulation which will allow you to place masses on either side of a see- saw like device. (This is the same simulation that you used for the pre-lab, but rather than choose "Game," you will choose "Balance Lab." You are able to choose both mass you place on either side of the see saw, as well as the distance from the axis of rotation in the center. In this way, you can change the torque created by the mass you have chosen. If you look, among the objects that you can place on the seesaw are 8 mystery objects, assigned letter designations A through H. Your goal in this lab is to determine the mass of each of the mystery objects. The skills that you hopefully honed during the pre-lab should be able to help you navigate this task.
