Consider the temperature of the air at 4000 metres as measuredby the radiosonde in (#3). Now consider the temperature of therising air inside the parcel at 4000 metres in (#4).
a) Is the air temperature inside the parcel at 4000 metreswarmer or colder than the air surrounding it (as measured by theradiosonde)?
b) In this situation would the atmosphere be consideredstable or unstable?
