Determine the unknown concentration of Acetic Acid. Return to the MAIN MENU and RUN SIMULATION. Ring Bell for Service ANALYTE OPTIONS: Weak Acid, Acetic, Unknown concentration (check the box), Initial volume 2.00 mL • TITRANT OPTIONS: Concentration 0.25 M • EQUIPMENT OPTIONS: Change indicator to phenolphthalein under pH range. • BEGIN TITRATION Conduct the titration, as before. You can vary the amount the buret dispenses. You are trying to catch the volume at the endpoint of the titration. If you mess up, click RESET TITRATION and try using a smaller or larger drop from the buret. Volume Acetic Acid: 2.00mL Molarity NaOH: 0.25 M Volume NaOH used to reach the endpoint: Calculate the moles NaOH: Use the chemical equation to find the moles of acetic acid (HC2H302) in the sample. HC₂H₂O₂(ag) + NaOH(aq) →→ NaC₂H₂O₂ (aq) + H₂O(l) Use the molarity formula to find the molarity of the acetic acid. I
