A parallel-plate capacitor made of circular plates of radius 25cm separated by 0.20 cm is charged to a potential difference of1000 volts by a battery. Then a sheet of mylar is pushed betweenthe plates, completely filling the gap between them. How muchadditional charge flows from the battery to one of the plates whenthe mylar is inserted?
Dielectric constant for some materials: mylar 3.1 polyethylene2.6 polyvinyldifluoride 11. tantalum pentoxide 25. Teflon 2.1
