During a recent International Physics Conference, physicistswere arguing over what is true about all series ac circuits. Which would do you believe is true?
a. The voltage across any circuit element is a maximum whenthe current is a maximum in that circuit element.
b. Resistors, capacitors, and inductors can all change the phaseof the current.
c. The current in the circuit is a maximum when the source acvoltage is a maximum.
d. The current at any point in the circuit is always the same asthe current at any other point in the circuit.
