The table below gives the number of parking tickets received inone semester and the GPA for five randomly selected collegestudents who drive to campus. Using this data, consider theequation of the regression line, yˆ=b0+b1xy^=b0+b1x, forpredicting the GPA of a college student who drives to campus basedon the number of parking tickets they receive in one semester. Keepin mind, the correlation coefficient may or may not bestatistically significant for the data given. Remember, inpractice, it would not be appropriate to use the regression line tomake a prediction if the correlation coefficient is notstatistically significant.

Step 4 of 6 :
Substitute the values you found in steps 1 and 2 into theequation for the regression line to find the estimated linearmodel. According to this model, if the value of the independentvariable is increased by one unit, then find the change in thedependent variable yˆy^.
