Question 3 You have been asked to design a production line to manufacture a new product. At this stage of product development there is very little detailed information available on paper so you must find out as much as you can about the product in order to allow you to design a suitable production line to make the product. - You are to explain your approach/methodology used in designing the production system. What information will you need? What kind of production systems will you consider? Depending on product volume requirements? You must produce at least two production designs for different volume forecasts and explain how each design works. Your assumptions for your designs must be clearly explained.
