include public buses, rail transportation, boats, taxi cabs,
minibuses, service buses etc. Find relations between demands and
incomes of pairs of different modes. State whether they are
substitutes or complements. State what other possible factors
affect the demand and incomes. State whether they have elastic or
inelastic demands. Your answer should include a complete analysis
of city transportation so that you can use this analysis to answer
questions like whether the rates should be increased, or, whether
the public transport should be made free or very low cost (below
profit making levels).
