FOR DIGITAL FORENSICS CLASS:
For this lab, use any storage media at your disposal. This canbe a USB stick, an old hard drive, etc. Using the appropriatetool(s), collect a forensically sound image of the device. Documentthe process in the same way you would a real collection, includingby taking photos of the device, recording the identification, andverifying the image.
Some forensic tools are available in the eLumin virtualmachine in applications and on the course Shared ClassOneDrive,, but you're free to use other tools as long as theycreate a forensic image. MAC User's, feel free to useautopsy, or command-line versions of forensic tools, perhaps a Kalibootable USB image
You should submit a brief report of your process, usingscreenshots as necessary. I don't care how you report it as long asyou demonstrate to me that you collected the image according to thestandards we discussed in class.
