You are using an Intrusion Detection System. You did a study onthe performance of your IDS. Among all the times the IDS flagged asan intrusion you found only 30% of the time the traffic wasactually an intrusion. However, from a previous experiment you knowthat the IDS has an accuracy rate of 90%. Explain clearly and showall your calculations and the assumptions you made. I amspecifically interested to know the percentage of traffic that areintruders.
