Concept Question:
A 10 kg metal box, with a specific heat capacity of 0.79 J/gCcomes into contact with a larger, unknown metal. The 10 kg box hasan initial temperature of 70 C, which drops to 20 C afterbeing in contact with the unknown metal for a period of time. Howmuch heat was transferred from the 10 kg box, to the metal?
This is a question I have been working on, and I assume that theequation q = mc(delta)T could be applied, but I wanted too makesure.
