A slab panel of a building is to be designed to carry its self-weight and live load of 2.5 kN/m². Based on standard design code, the floor building is constructed based on 2 hours fire resistance under XO exposure class. Given, strength for concrete and steel are as follow; fck=30 N/mm² and fyk-500 N/mm². 5.0m -5.2m- PANEL 1 Figure 1 a) Referring to Figure 1, classify the type of slab above and suggest a minimum slab thickness and nominal cover based on design requirement given above. (PLO3, CLO3) (5 marks)
