In our COSS course till now, we have learnt the benefits ofusing cache for improving memory access and thereby reduced latencytime of applications to complete. A computer system has a mainmemory access time of 60ns. You as a computer organization experthave been asked to reduce the final memory access time to 20ns byadding a suitable cache. Assume that the miss probability is 10%.What should be the fastness of cache (in terms of access time) forthis requirement?
